Joinery company Mumford & Wood celebrated 50 years in business with a jubilee lunch for staff and their families.
Speaking at the event, managing director John Mumford paid tribute to the company’s founders and staff who have contributed to Mumford & Wood’s success.
“We can only maintain our position if we are supported by a highly skilled and motivated workforce,” he said. “We believe in our employees and do everything we can to promote a spirit of co-operation, teamwork and continuous improvement.
“We have always been ambitious and our believe in hard work and service excellence is our priority.”
Dave Saunders and Ted Page were presented with long service awards after 25 years with the company.
