“It looks like the timber industry has got its act together,” was Ultrajoist managing director Fraser Steele’s take on the Timber Zone.
He described Interbuild as a well laid out and thought out show, with lots of new timber products on show.
Mr Steele said Ultrajoist, the super dry and distinctive blue construction timber, would feature in an interesting development by Hollybrook in Redhill. Two existing brick and block buildings will have multi-storey timber frame structures, built using Ultrajoist, erected on top of them.
Mr Steele said such projects were ideal for lightweight timber frame systems.
