Beatsons Building Supplies has announced the acquisition of Orchard Timber Products from administrators of the National Timber Group (NTG).
The acquisition strengthens Beatsons’ presence across Scotland and enhances its product portfolio, particularly in solid wood flooring, doors, and bespoke timber solutions. Orchard Timber Products, established in 2004 and headquartered in Forfar, has built a strong reputation for quality and service, supplying housebuilders, contractors, and joiners across the UK.

Beatsons operates five sites across Scotland.
NTG went into administration in November, 2025. It comprises a range of businesses, including Arnold Laver and Rembrand Timber.
