A Bournemouth couple who created a summerhouse from a dilapidated out-house in their garden have won £10,000 in a national competition organised by Wickes Homes Improvement Centres and wood. for good.
Mark and Tricia Whitmore won top prize in the contest which aimed to encourage the best DIY projects using wood purchased from Wickes. They plan to spend some of the winnings on a wooden deck for their garden.
