Ms Germanis holds a BSc (Hons) in environmental chemistry and has seven years’ experience in forest certification.
Her previous positions include a communications role with the FSC International Center, where she supported the scheme’s work on international policy. In 2011 she joined NEPCon, an international non-profit organisation that delivers FSC certification services in collaboration with the Rainforest Alliance. In this role she integrated communications strategies across the organisation to arm businesses with the understanding and tools for responsible forestry and trade.
Group sales and marketing director Mark Fleming said it was an "immensely important appointment" for Brooks Bros and proved the depth of the company’s commitment to legal and sustainable trading.
