Scottish timber frame designer and manufacturer Carronvale used Boise’s engineered wood products on a six-storey block of flats in Glasgow.

Carronvale supplied 2,700m of Boise’s engineered timber BCI joists for the 12-apartment block, and 400m each of Boise’s Versa-Lam beam and Versa-Lam R rim material.

As on-site space was restricted, Boise supplied the I-joists to Carronvale for the company to cut to size at its Grangemouth works. They were then forwarded to site in “floor-by-floor” cassettes.
