Beck Woodrow, FSC UK’s construction adviser, is to leave the organisation at the end of this month after eight years.

Former marketing officer Rosie Teasdale, who became deputy director at the beginning of the year, will take on some of Ms Woodrow’s responsibilities, including providing advice on trademark use and assisting companies with off-product promotions. She will maintain a watching brief over the public awareness-raising profile and will handle routine PR, although the everyday responsibility for both these will be passed on to a new member of staff who is to be recruited in the early summer.

Tallulah Chapman becomes the point of contact for chain of custody advice and will work with the executive director, Charles Thwaites on the consultation required for assessing the risk category of the UK for controlled wood.

Jo Nicholson remains as finance manager: this role will develop over the next 12 months as FSC UK is incorporated into a charity limited by guarantee, and it takes over the administration of membership of FSC from the International Centre.
