Two parquet flooring specialists in the Netherlands have consolidated into a new company.
Antwerp-based Parket Brabo, a manufacturer and installer of parquet floors, and Geo Hout en Karo, in Limburg, a production company, have been absorbed into the e8.2m turnover Roevaco NV.
The move allows Gebo Hout to concentrate on manufacture and Parket Brabo to focus on installation.
Roevaco managing director Etienne Roels said planning restrictions prevented production capacity at Parket Brabo being enlarged so it had moved to Gebo Hout. “This solution offers optimal chances to continue as independent companies,” he said.
