Essex timber merchant Timber Now closes
29 January 2024Essex timber merchant Timber Now Ltd has now closed after going into voluntary liquidation.
The company, founded in 2018, had grown quickly as a supplier of timber products but is believed to have suffered a downturn in demand due to the current UK market dynamics. Its last company accounts showed 13 staff had worked for the company.
A message posted on its website thanked suppliers, staff and customers for their support over the previous five years.
Timber Now won the TTJ Small Timber Business of the Year in 2022 & 2023.
