European and African timber companies will have the opportunity to network at the third RaceWood event in Douala, Cameroon on March 22-23.
The event will provide a forum for European importers and African producers and will include visits to forest concessions in the Congo Basin, which has 4.3 million ha of certified natural forest – the largest natural FSC-certified forest in the tropical world.
Workshops and a small exhibition will also feature at the event, organised by the Interafrican Forest Industries Association.
RaceWood is designed to promote co-operation and partnerships. The first two events were held in Gabon and Ghana.
