Everest has doubled the size of its PVCu wood-grain effect range because of the “huge popularity” of timber windows and doors.
The company also said its timber product sales, launched in 2001, continued to flourish.
Everest marketing director Duncan Bland said wood-grain products now accounted for 15% of all its PVCu window and door sales. The new options include white, cream and black windows and doors.
“There’s no doubt that the popularity of wood-grain PVCu windows is mirrored in the huge interest we have had in our timber range,” said Mr Bland. “Homeowners want security, insulation and long-lasting products but they also want a visually appealing home. Timber and wood-grain products seem to suit those demands.”
