Georgia-Pacific (GP) has struck a deal with distributor US Lumber to supply its range of engineered wood products (EWP).
The agreement, expected to start in early February, will see the US$250m US Lumber distribution operation offer GP I-joists, LVL, Fiberstrong rim board and laminated beams.
“This is a great opportunity to work with US Lumber and we believe our combined resources will give dealers the perfect solution for their engineered wood product requirements,” said Paul Watterson, general manager for Georgia-Pacific Wood Products.
“Their experience selling specialty wood products makes them a great fit within our EWP strategy.”
Atlanta-based US Lumber specialises in exterior trim products, interior joinery, flooring, decking and panel products.
