A government-funded guide detailing how to set up group forest certification schemes is now available.
‘Group Certification: A Practical Guide’ was produced by forest consultancy ProForest, with funding from the Department for International Development, to benefit developing countries.
The 60-page document provides an introduction to group certification; a step-by-step guide on setting up a scheme; and explains chain of custody principles.
