Interbuild organisers are refocusing this year’s show into distinct parts to cater for the needs of builders and specifiers.

Glass and glazing industry exhibition Glassex is also being incorporated into Interbuild.

“We understand that as the UK’s leading construction exhibition, as times change, so must we,” explained show director David Pierpoint.

The two new “highly-targeted” areas are Interbuild Specifier and Interbuild Onsite, with the former located in Hall 5 of the NEC and the latter in Hall 4.

The Onsite show is aimed to provide builder visitors everything they need on a building site, including tools, commercial trucks and installation equipment.

Interbuild Specifier will showcase construction design, products and processes, with “Sustainability Street” featuring structures demonstrating sustainable building material systems and materials. Key vertical markets such as education and healthcare will be brought to life through the buildings.

Other new elements include the Intelligent Home and a free construction industry conference. The show will take place over four days from October 18-21.
