The Institute of Wood Science (IWSc) is to hold its annual conference at the Copthorne Hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne on October 9.
This year’s event will be themed “Wood Solutions – Theory & Practice” and comprise papers and case studies that address the use of timber in sustainable designs, natural durability and heat treated timber.
Speakers from Edward Cullinan Architects and Renzo Piano Building Workshop will present some of their solutions in practice.
