Lawcris Panel Products has obtained a trademark for its brand name Dekor.
Marketing manager Hal Eccles said: “We have invested a large amount of time and money developing Dekor. It has been an anxious 10 months waiting for the trademark.”
The company believes the Dekor range, which includes panel materials and related products such as drawer runners, hinges and fittings, will be of interest to designers, architects, specifiers and end users.
To further add value, Lawcris has set up a new Creative Bonding Solutions department which has installed one of the latest semi-automated laminate presses, able to offer bespoke bonding to a range of materials.
The bonded panels can then be passed on to the Creative CNC department which offers a full CNC cutting, machining and edging service.
A dedicated new product development team attends most of the design shows around Europe, and most of the company’s new products and examples of its CNC and presswork can be seen at its Design Centre at Leeds.
