Housebuilder Mactaggart & Mickel has appointed a senior member of sales staff to its timber division.
David Parker joins the company as external business development manager. With more than 20 years’ experience in the timber frame sector, he will have responsibility for overseeing the growth of timber systems through the procurement of external sales contracts and the creation of strategic partnerships in the public and private sectors and self-build market. He was formerly with Frame Wise Ltd.
“I look forward to playing my part in expanding the timber systems division throughout Scotland,” said Mr Parker.
Mactaggart & Mickel, which celebrates its 85th anniversary this year, is part of the City Legacy Consortium which has been awarded the contract to build the athletes’ village for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
