Covers Timber and Builders Merchants has opened a new trade centre combining timber with heavyside building materials to create a one-stop shop for customers.
The new centre has been built on the company’s 16-acre site at Quarry Lane in Chichester and was officially opened by the town’s mayor, Ray Brown.
According to Covers, the new trade centre offers a quicker way for trade customers to access a wide range of the company’s stock, with the 5,000ft² showroom allowing access to thousands of products.
“We aim to provide our trade customers with a rapid collection service of over 23,000 product lines available from stock,” said Steve Osborne, managing director of Covers. “In addition, the site access and parking facilities have been improved to complement this new trade centre concept.”
Earlier this year, Covers opened an eco-centre at its Chichester site, designed to promote the latest environmentally-friendly building products and materials.
