A computerised search facility to match pallet and case buyers’ needs with suitable manufacturers has been launched by the pallet advisory association PalletLink.
The in-house database covers more than 4,270 pallet and case manufacturers and industry suppliers across the world, including 440 UK makers.
The free search facility permits 114 exact category matches to buyers’ requests and the database also covers suppliers to pallet and case makers.
PalletLink secretary John Harvey said: ‘Buyers appreciate being given two or three companies who actually make what they want. With over 70 specialist wood pallet and box makers among our 85 members, we rarely have to go outside the member ship to satisfy enquiries.’
