The Chartered Insitute of Building’s (CIOB) new Code of Practice for Partnering in the Construction Industry describes how highly developed forms of partnering are developing into strategic collaborative working which turns construction into a genuinely modern industry.

“This report captures the essence of partnering and how it can enable the industry to focus on improving its joint performance whilst providing more certainty in the construction process in terms of cost, time and quality,” said CIOB chief executive Chris Blythe.

The guidance, endorsed by the Royal Institute of British Architects, is supported by check lists, case studies and research results.
