Receivers in New Zealand have begun advertising the sale of troubled Masterton timber and haulage company Renalls Ltd.

The company is continuing to operate normally as receiver Ferrier Hodgson attempts to sell the business as a going concern. However, some of the assets have already been put on the market.

Renalls, which employs 30 people, built a multi-million dollar sawmill and processing plant near Masterton. Its export lumber business ran in conjunction with a woodchip mill and log haulage operation.

The company has a reputation for hi-tech timber cutting using computer imaging.
