Moss & Co (Hammersmith) Ltd has been awarded a Royal Warrant of Appointment as timber merchant to Her Majesty The Queen.
The 115 year-old business submitted application paperwork last June and has won a warrant as a result of its work at The Royal Armouries, Tower of London and picture frame and furniture conservation workshops at The Royal Collection.
Managing director Christopher Vaughan said: ‘Eventually we have been rewarded for our efforts over the years. The staff have been tremendously impressed by it and can’t wait for the crest to appear on our lorries.’
In addition to a wide choice of hardwoods and softwoods the company stocks special interest species such as jelutong, ebony, steamed pear, rosewood, wenge and lime.
