A softwood deck treated with an environmentally friendly pressure treatment is providing a safe haven for sea lions at Whipsnade Wild Animal Park, Dunstable.
Barclay, a one-ton bull sea lion, and his mates had been picking up splinters from their original hardwood deck which had seen many years service.
