The mill employs 142 people and has a capacity to produce 340,000m3 of particleboard a year.
"It is our intention to concentrate this production in another plant in Spain (Linares). The decision was taken given the strong crisis and the consequent drop in demand faced in the construction industry over the last few years," a spokesperson said.
