With an extensive career history with Hanson Building Products, Mr Cox moved from his multi-site activities of production director to join Timbmet in 2010 as operations director of the Shellingford Central Distribution Centre where he undertook a restructuring programme to improve efficiencies, maximising production and distribution performance.
Mr Cox takes over from Wendy Trott who left the company at the end of last year to pursue an opportunity outside the timber industry.
