Timbmet Ltd has signed an agreement with Canadian-based CPI Plastics Group Ltd to distribute eon plastic decking products in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
The Oxford-based company says the 100% plastic eon product looks like wood but offers additional benefits.
Neil Boston, managing director for Timbmet Oxford, said: “We think we have got a great product at a great time. The market is more and more looking for alternatives, and we are happy to meet this demand alongside our existing products. We expect sales of our timber decking to continue to grow. We will be looking to supply eon decking to our merchant customer base and also elements of the non-timber industry, including the caravan sector, where plastic products are popular.”
The product will be showcased at this year’s GLEE show in September.
