Demand for more information on the standard bracing of “Room in the Roof” (RiR) trussed rafters has led the Trussed Rafter Association (TRA) to produce a fifth product datasheet.

The datasheet, part of a successful series of publications, offers advice on bracing responsibility, the functions of roof bracing and the application of standard bracing in RiR roofs. Information is also provided on the design limitations for standard bracing and covers the need for chevron bracing and the effect of roof sarking.
