Situated in Hatfield, the new outlet, operating under the Travis Perkins brand, is designed to offer trade customers in the area a comprehensive range of building materials.
“We continue to see good opportunities to acquire or develop new business to add to our networks in these growing markets in the UK and we are delighted to have recorded this significant milestone in the development of the group,” said Geoff Cooper, group chief executive.
The group, born from a merger of Travis & Arnold and Sandell Perkins in 1988, has opened an average of 76 branches per year over the last five years.
Travis Perkins includes Wickes, City Plumbing Supplies, Keyline Builders Merchants and interior building products distributor CCF.
