The member has six weeks to comply and submit a report as evidence of due diligence or it will be removed from membership and the TTF will name and shame.

"Unfortunately, we have been left with no alternative but to suspend a company from membership of the TTF as it has not demonstrated evidence of due diligence," said TTF chief executive John White.

"We have offered our support over the past year and will continue to do so to ensure that this member can supply what is required within the next six weeks."

Mr White said the suspension was not taken lightly but was in fairness to members who had complied and for the sake of the reputation of the TTF, the industry and the TTF’s Responsible Purchasing Policy.
