Thirty speakers will focus on the latest developments in wood plastic composites (WPC) at a conference in Cologne on December 2-3.

New processes, materials and current developments on international markets will be covered at Wood Plastic Composites, which has already attracted registrations from 200 people from 22 countries.

Leading Chinese manufacturers will present developments from China’s WPC sector, while products will be on display on 26 exhibition stands.

The Nova Institute is sponsoring a WPC Innovation Award at the event, with support from extrusion machinery manufacturer Reifenhäuser.

Companies nominated include H Hiendl GmbH, for its assembly profile system made from Hiendel NFC; Quingdao HuaSheng Hi-Tech Development Co, for its WPC thermal insulated siding; and Staedtler Mars & Co, for its WOPEX Pencil.
