The German wood machinery exhibition Holz Handwerk takes place next April in conjunction with the Fensterbau timber window show.
Oraniser of the Nuremberg event Walter Hufnagel said that this “potent exhibition duo” was proving popular with potential vistiors. He added that the window show would also cover exterior timber building façade products.
After next year’s event, which takes place from March 31 to April 3, Holz Handwerk will not be held again until 2006.
Mr Hufnagl said that the decision to have a two-year break was due mainly to the “unchanged difficult sitiuation of many firms in the woodworking trade and the resulting wish of exhibitors to cut back their exhibition commitments”.
