Exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience in sales and operations to take on responsibility for our Hemel operation, looking after a team of 40 employees, supported by on-site Operations and Sales Manager.

The successful candidate will report to a Latham’s Limited Director and will be supported by colleagues throughout the business. They will oversee all aspects of the site including budgeting and overheads, performance of sales and operations, and people management. They must be able to implement group policy in such things as health and safety, customer care, supply chain and developing employees in order to build a strong team and grow the business.

They will need to be pro-active, confident and an excellent communicator. It is essential that they have the skills to lead a team and make decisions independently, but seek advice appropriately.

The Hemel site is approx. 40,000 ft3 purpose-built facility located near the A414 and M1. It has excellent facilities that allow us to meet customer needs efficiently while providing employees with a safe, comfortable working environment.

Previous experience in the timber industry is not essential.

Package is by negotiation but would include a competitive salary, bonus schemes, private medical cover, pension and car allowance. Relocation expenses would be available if necessary.
