Combilift receives achievement award

Combilift Ltd has won the design achievement award at the 2005 Fork Lift Truck Association's (FTLA) Annual Awards For Excellence.

The Irish company's managing director Martin McVicar received the prize at the awards ceremony in Birmingham on February 26.

Mr McVicar said he was delighted the forklift industry had recognised the benefits of the multi-directional Combilift solution which "initially challenged design theory" but has become an established concept, with the trucks now a familiar site in the timber, panels and merchant sectors.
