Combilift wins Irish exporter prize

Irish long load handling specialist Combilift has won the Irish Exporter of the Year 2008 prize.

County Monaghan-based Combilift, whose multi-directional forklifts have a strong presence in the timber products industry, were presented with the prize in a ceremony at University College Dublin.

The company had earlier won the manufacturing exporter category at the awards, organised by the Irish Exporters’ Association (IEA).

The prize, presented by Irish prime minister Brian Cowen, is the fourth major award won by Combilift.
