Progressive Solution hoists timber flag

Progressive Solutions used Timber Expo to highlight its commitment to the timber sector, as well as preview the latest release of its bisTrack timber and builders merchant software system.

“Progressive is very much a timber software brand and we’re here to put a flag up to that effect,” said sales manager Andrew Wilkinson.

“It’s been a worthwhile experience,” added managing director Arthur Duffy. “We’ve seen existing customers and new prospects and had some interesting business enquiries from people who really want to do things with their business and see IT playing a key role in that.”

The latest bisTrack version, 3.2, had not yet been officially released to Progressive’s 200-plus users, but sales manager Andrew Wilkinson dropped a few hints.

“We’ve been focusing on multi-level drill downs and right click actions for even more speed and flexibility in viewing and manipulating data,” he said.”We’ve also included free apps for iPhone and Android smartphones.”

He added that Progressive came away from Timber Expo with a “very healthy bunch of leads" and planned to be back in 2012.
