Timber Expo: Epicor flies solo
5 October 2013Epicor was the only software provider exhibiting, prompting a spokesperson to joke that it was so dominant in the timber sector that it had scared the competition away.
The company was promoting its BisTrack software and reported that many of its enquiries related to how customers could maximise its functionality.
"They're all really happy with BisTrack and they realise they can get much more out of it if they know how to leverage the software," said customer account manager Adam Lee.
"We already have market share but that's how we can go about developing it," he said, adding that the show had proved to be "a great networking opportunity".
Recent BisTrack developments include a module for process manufacturing, allowing continuous production across shifts.
"It adds huge value for the manufacturer," said business development director Colin Dean.
