Warwickshire College wins university challenge

Students and staff from Warwickshire College won the Get Woodworking University Challenge at Alexandra Palace recently.

They were set the challenge of creating a piece of furniture in one day with a choice of theme – “Tea and Biscuits” or “Night and Day”. The team opted for the former and created a coffee table in the shape of a giant teacup.

Six colleges competed and the winning piece was voted for by www.getwoodworking.com website members and show attendees.
