The group from Brazilian construction organisation SEBRAE were also taken to the Olympic Park and Travis Perkins’ Gravesend branch. The company explained how it was helping customers capitalise on the sustainable building market with a "solution-based approach", which included thermally modelled construction drawings, training courses and on-site services.
BRE said the trip came at a time when Brazil’s construction sector was set for a "step-change", with the government investing £320bn in urban development and infrastructure projects for the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games, both of which the country is hosting.
