The new building structure has been erected and the foundations for the new sawline are under construction.
Handling and log-feed equipment is currently being shipped over from Finland, where the equipment was purchased from Finnforest’s closed Kyroskoski mill. Kalfass sorting equipment and a Hewsaw sawmill will also be installed on site.
BSW is investing an eight-figure sum in the sawmill to double capacity to 260,000m3. It is expected to be operational by next January.
