Finnforest has refused to comment on trade rumours that it is poised to acquire Montague L Meyer Ltd, the Barking, Essex-based importer and distributor.
Speaking to TTJ this week Jukka-Pekka Vuori, Finnforest vice-president corporate communications and marketing, could neither refute nor confirm reports circulating the trade about an imminent takeover of the business.
A spokesman for Montague L Meyer also declined to comment.
