The deadline for the Forestry Commission‘s Woodland Grant Scheme applications to plant new woodlands in England has been extended because of the foot and mouth outbreak. The cut-off date of May 31 has been moved to June 30 as the outbreak has prevented some people from applying for new plant-ing grants.
