The implementation of the new site layout has also facilitated the fitting of anti-weathering membranes to enhance product protection.

Enhancements are also being made to Grange’s distribution mechanics in order to shorten lead times, raise standards in order fulfilment and maximise customer satisfaction.

“We have listened carefully to our customers, and have taken steps to ensure that we will enter the winter storm season with very robust, pristine stocks not only in the UK but also at our mainland Europe sites,” said Paul Taylor, commercial director.

“The initiatives taken, our fully organised distribution network and the fact that we now have the widest range of pressure-treated products available will help to strengthen Grange’s position as a pioneer in the timber garden structures market.
We are now better placed than ever to meet the challenges of a new era in innovation, manufacturing and logistics.”
Grange has also implemented some management changes – Paul Taylor has been made commercial director and Dr Dominika Bienkowska has been appointed chairman of the board.
