Rita Howe has retired after 45 years in the timber trade and latterly nine-and-a-half years with Hoppings Softwood Products.
Friends and work colleagues from her past employers and Hoppings celebrated the milestone at a retirement party held close to Hoppings’ head office in Epping.
Mrs Howe thanked everyone for the retirement gifts she received and commented she was looking forward to a forthcoming cruise with her husband Bill, before she contemplated the next chapter in her life.
