James Donaldson Timber is taking on an additional 110,000ft2 manufacturing facility in Chorley to boost output and improve operational facilities.
Property consultants Graham & Sibbald announced the successful acquisition of the facility located at Knowles Way, Botany Bay, Chorley, on a leasehold basis, on behalf of James Donaldson Timber.
This newly acquired site was described as serving as a pivotal asset in the company’s operations. Situated just one mile from James Donaldson Timber’s existing Chorley facility, the site offers integration with established routes and operational processes.
As part of the acquisition, Perform Panel, a division of Nu-Style Products and a subsidiary of the Donaldson Group, will co-occupy 10,000ft2 of the facility for storage and distribution purposes in the Northwest. Perform Panel specializes in the manufacture of a range of decorative wet wall panels.
