Catherine Lyons has joined the company from discount warehouse JTF, where she spent eight years as director of buying.
Ms Lyons also spent three years as head of buying and merchandising for home shopping channels at Ideal Shopping Direct, with additional responsibility for quality assurance.
Ms Lyons will be responsible for sourcing and buying products and materials and heading up a team of 12 stock, sales and marketing staff to help drive the company into its next stages.
Kybotech, which trades online under the brands BillyOh.com and GardenBuildingsDirect.co.uk, operates from a 20-acre site in Nottinghamshire and sells more than 165,000 sheds, log cabins, playhouses, green houses and outdoor garden buildings online each year.
