With more than 50 years of service to the society, he also served as national treasurer for 15 years before becoming investment manager when the role was changed .
His retirement from the TTBS board of management just before age 80 was announced at the board’s meeting in February 2014.
Mr Bellamy will be remembered fondly by all his colleagues at TTBS and at Vincent Timber in Birmingham.
