Saint-Gobain joined forces with Church Lukas, Factory Homes and GB Building Solutions to create two prefabrictaed student bedroom pods, one to Part L: 2006 specifications and the the other to meet Passivhaus principles.
Glulam rim beams from Pasquill and planed timber batten cladding from International Timber were used in both pods. Saint-Gobain Isover supplied its 90mm and 200mm Timber Frame Batt 35, Spacesaver and Frame Façade slab.
Pasquill’s I-joists were also used in the house meeting Passivhaus principles.
