Berkshire-based BCM Timber Projects supplied the fire-protected larch for the façade of the new South Wolverhampton and Bilston Academy.

The Non-Com Exterior treatment was used to provide Euroclass B surface spread of flame protection without affecting the wood’s external appearance.

The £25m school, part of Wolverhampton’s Building Schools for the Future programme, will house 1,200 pupils in four themed skill zones.
