The MHS9 is a high volume machine and will be installed in Malaysia. Salpac managing director Raymond Ng said: "The purchase of the Stenner is part of our strategic plan to produce goods of quality in the most environmentally friendly manner."
The configuration comprises four band resaws inline producing multiple products in a single pass. It has variable pulley speeds to maximise performance when cutting different species and air knives to remove sawdust from between the boards and cutter block.
Stenner sales director Fred Harding said: "Despite the worldwide downturn sales of the horizontal range have held up reasonably well. Three more systems are on the order book and once they are completed we will have manufactured 900 units."
