Timber importer and wood cabin distributor Swedscot Timber Ltd has relocated to a new site as it looks to grow business.
Swedscot is moving from Inverness to a 14,198ft² building in Westfield North Courtyard in Cumbernauld.
“Key to our decision to locate to Westfield North Courtyard was the superb transport connections this site offers with the rest of the country,” said Steven McRitchie, Swedscot director.
“Westfield will provide an ideal base for our business as we continue to grow our reputation as one of Scotland’s leading independent timber importers.”
The estate is located immediately off Junction 3 of the M73 motorway at its merger with the M80, providing links to the M8 and M9 motorways.
Recent upgrades to the site’s surrounding road infrastructure, including the completion of the M80, has improved access to the north and south of Scotland.
